Scaggsville? Every time we drive home from my brother's house we pass this exit off of 95 and ponder the origin of this unfortunate name for a town. Do people really see Scaggsville on a map and say," Ooooh. I wanna live there."? I have never been to Scaggsville, but I must say, I'm kind of curious...

That's funny...When Mike and I were driving home from South Carolina the other week we saw signs for that town and I was thinking the same thing. What a funny sounding name! Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe they named it after a person and his last name was Scaggs?
